酸堿物質(zhì)是鐵藝護(hù)欄的“頭號(hào)殺手”。如果在日常生活中，護(hù)欄不慎沾上了酸（如硫酸、食醋）或堿（如肥皂水、蘇打水、裝修用的涂料稀釋劑等），應(yīng)立即用清水把污處沖洗干凈，再用干布擦干。在庭院除草或清潔時(shí)，也要注意避免殺蟲劑、強(qiáng)酸強(qiáng)堿清潔劑直接噴濺到護(hù)欄上。

如果護(hù)欄局部出現(xiàn)了較小的銹跡，千萬不要自作主張用砂紙暴力打磨，這樣會(huì)破壞周邊完好的漆面，導(dǎo)致生銹面積擴(kuò)大。正確的做法是：用棉紗蘸取少許機(jī)油涂在銹跡處，稍候片刻，讓機(jī)油滲透軟化銹層，再用布反復(fù)揩擦即可消除。如果銹跡已經(jīng)擴(kuò)大變重，或者漆面出現(xiàn)大面積脫落，建議請(qǐng)專業(yè)的技術(shù)人員來進(jìn)行除銹和重新噴漆修復(fù)。

The correct approach is to dip cotton yarn in a small amount of engine oil and apply it to the rust area.
